I want to tell you I LOVE LOVE my new car. I am not kidding I am totally over the moon about it. I love the way it drives, I love the gas mileage, I love just about everything and must say have not enjoyed a new car any more than this one!
I have had great comments on it from all my friends including one good friend who is a car lover and said it was a very "sexy" looking car.
I thought you might like to share that comment with your team and Subaru as that is not a word usually associated with a Subaru!!!

These, of course, are the comments today about the Bluefish Game last night. We did really enjoy a perfect night at the ballpark! The home team beat Camden 18-9. The same player (Maria remembers the name) hit two Bluefish homeruns driving in 7 runs! His first was high up on the wall in left and the second went clear over the net to the brick wall of the Arena. Lots of action: bunts, doubles, steals, great throws to second, complex double play attempts, dropped balls (by Camden), lots of different pitchers, spirited calls by the umps and a time out caused, not by rain, but by an electrical outage!
And all of it right there in front of us without anybody’s head in the way! Those seats, Section 10, Row A, are the best…between the visitor’s dugout and home, right behind the next batter up! The game wasn’t over ‘til 11:00!
I was the fortunate person to win these 4 tickets at the raffle among participants of the new owners’ session Tuesday evening, June 2nd. Thank you!

Hey Bob, it's been a busy few weeks since my wife Mabel and I bought a Forester
limited through Premier Subaru.
Just wanted to say that we dealt solely with Don there and he basically changed
our lives! His nature was so warm and friendly, that we instantly knew he could
be trusted. The whole car buying experience changed for us at that point (prior
dealers didn't have that friendly WOW factor). Never pressuring or bombarding us
with words but listening and pleasantly discussing. He was absolutely great, and
a deal breaker for us. Mabel and I are big on customer service, and he could do
no better. Also whimsically funny, which came through later on.
I hope you could extend to him a job well done or sincere thank you from us. He
went far and beyond the call of duty, this being after 8pm! This reflected extremely
well on Premier.
Because of this wonderful experience, we are constantly selling you guys to our
peers. Mabel and I see ourselves as lifelong loyal PS fans and intend to come back

Attention: Bob Alvine and Gary Christiansen,
I wasn’t able to personally thank the technician who worked on my car yesterday,
so I’m hoping you will convey my thanks to him.
As a recap, my car was due for its 60,000 mile check-up and I live in Danbury which
is 1 hr 10 min away from your office. When I go there, I’m pretty much “stuck” there
on that side of Connecticut, so I appreciated the use of the loaner car. But yesterday,
there seemed to be an unexpected delay and uncertainty as to whether my car would
be ready by the end of the day which would have meant that I’d have to take the
loaner car overnight Monday and return Tuesday morning. Not a huge deal, but here
is where I would like to extend my appreciation. The technician worked on my car
all day and stayed until after 6PM and was able to finish all the necessary work
so I wouldn’t have to come back. And then even arranged to wash the car, which I
wasn’t even expecting due to the lateness!
I don’t know much about mechanical issues, but I understand that the issue with
my car was fairly complicated and probably wasn’t an easy job to fix and was obviously
time-consuming.
When people ask me why I drive such a distance to have service done at your facility,
it’s because I have complete confidence in you and I appreciate the great customer
service and the fact that you are willing to go the “extra mile” with all transactions
and arrange discounts whenever possible. It does not go unnoticed!
So, I would really appreciate it if you could please thank the technician(s) who
took care of my car yesterday (Victor? Denis? – I’m not sure). Also thanks to Angela
(?) who stayed late as well.

So far we have been extremely happy with our Subaru! Originally, we were just "browsing"
for new cars a couple weeks ago because the lease on our Jeep Grand Cherokee was
ending. Donald Jones showed us what Premier had to offer, and seemed to be extremely
knowledgeable about the cars, so we felt comfortable enough to make our purchase!
I have personally been an avid Jeep fan for a number of years, having owned or leased
5 different Jeeps throughout the past. Although our currently leased 2006 Grand
Cherokee is a nice vehicle, we got pretty discouraged when we brought the Jeep to
the dealer (Executive Jeep) for an oil change, and we walked out with a $400 bill
for new rotors - on a car with 28000 miles! They did, however, fix some transmission
leaks free of charge, as that was still under warranty. Why a car with 28000 miles
would have transmission leaks - I don't know.
I've never had issues like this with other Jeeps I've owned, and questioned the
dealer about these issues on a relatively new car (that has been "babied"). Not
to mention, I've always thought of Jeeps to be rugged vehicles! I can imagine what
would happen if we actually used it off road!
We won't be going back to Executive Jeep!
As you can see I am pretty loyal when it comes to vehicles I like, so we will be
back to Premier provided our Subaru treats us well!
Being a customer support manager myself, I know the value of good support So far
our experience with Premier Subaru (and Don Jones!)has been extremely pleasant,
and we have heard good things from other Premier customers, so we plan on coming
back when my 98 Honda Civic finally gives up the ghost!

Just had to let you know that once again the Premier Subaru Service Dept. came to
our rescue. Because this was not the first time, we wanted to let you know that
on several occasions, we have experienced some minor problems with any one of our
3 vehicles that we purchased from your dealership. Even on short notice, they made
accomodations to see our vehicles, diagnose the problems, and correct them. Several
times, the problems were so minor (though not to us) that there was no charge. We
appreciate this attention and help and wanted to let you know how we appreciate
the people in the service department. As we have told you many times, we have never
dealt with a dealership like Premier. You can count on us to come back when we are
ready for new vehicles and to let people know how satisfied we have been since our
first purchase in 1993.

I was in the shop this morning to have a warranty parts replaced. I've been to the
shop now four or five times in the last six months for 30,000 service, oil changes
and whatnot. I've purchased a couple of accessories from parts.
I have been treated so well by your service department as well as the guys in parts
that I'm having a hard time wording praise for all the folks in both departments.
I can not forget to mention Stanley and the fine work he does making me feel valuable
as a customer.

Ron and I were very impressed with the professionalism of all of the people who
helped us with our purchase. I am very happy with my Outback and receive compliments
daily. Everyone who knows Subaru's tells me that I will love it and how great it
will be in the winter. Since performance in the snow is one of the primary reasons
I chose an Outback, I am happy to hear all of the great feedback and hope to find

I am also happy with the gas mileage, which is averaging over 27 mpg so far. The

I went to some other Subaru dealers around Monroe area (the milford and danbury)
before bought my Subaru Outback 2.5i from your premier. Compare to your office with
the other two, I think your office is really the top notch one. I think if we decide
to change my wife's car to Subaru in future or if any of my friends intend to buy
one Subaru, I will recommend your office instead of the other two. (Just tell them
don't waste time...) In milford and danbury, they just did it in the "traditional
way", they gave us some price, then walked away for a while (at least ten minutes.),
seemed they were quiet busy or pretended that they were negotiating the prices for
me. I think those kinds of strategies may work for the other customer, but not me.
That's why after the left us alone a couple of times, I left their office without
any hesitate. I think I know this kind of tricky things, that's why I hate they
played those kinds of games with me.
In your office, everything went so smoothly and turned out great, only in a couple
of minutes we reached agreement and there's no such kind of games…

I really enjoying my new car. Premier sure does follow up. I still haven't figured
out the transmission but haven't needed to so far.
I don't know if you are aware of Costco's car sales program. They have brochures
and advertising at all of their stores claiming you get a Costco discount from the
dealers they recommend.
I just wanted to let you know that I've recommended to Costco that they dump the
Subaru dealer they now have and recommended Premier Subaru.
I had a very bad experience trying to buy a new car from their recommended dealer.
The salesman lied, screamed at my daughter when she questioned the condition of
the car they were offering and was generally the most obnoxious of people. I reported
this to Subaru of America, as well as Costco, because Costco is recommending that
dealer in all of their brochures.
Costco immediately called me and wanted to know exactly what happened. I told them
of my bad experience and how different things were at Premier Subaru and suggested
they change dealers. I'm only one person, but I'm sure this behavior is not new
with them. The empty showroom should have been a clue. I hope this leads to more
customers for you.

The family and I had a great buying experience at your dealership. How often can
anyone say that about buying a vehicle? I'm sure you are proud of your staff. If
I were starting a business I would have a good idea on where to go for recruitment.
It's really tough to sit here and write this email without signaling out the one
person who really went above and beyond. Jeff,Joe,Rich and Brian were just outstanding.
Joe, was the guy who fielded my initial call. The only way to explain how he treated
us is that we piled the kids into the Ford expedition and drove 133 miles to your
dealership. Enough said!
Rich, this is the one individual that I would probably get rid off. (damn yankees
fan). Joking aside, he was pleasant to work with and one of the best financial guys
that we have come across in a lot of years. A true great asset to your team.
Jeff, the follow up phone calls and emails were unexpected from him. What really
stood out was that he was sincere in what he had to say and how he responded to
some adversity we had after we returned home with the vehicle. A local dealer claimed
that the front end tie rods were defective. Jeff followed up with your service manager
and got back to us in a timely manner with what actions that we should pursue. We
ended up taking the truck to a respected mechanic and he gave it a clean bill of
health. Great truck he said!
Brian, he kept his finger on the pulse the whole time. He made sure the transaction
was going to be a smooth and painless one. He also followed up on the "post emails"
after we arrived back home.
I'm done filling up your time with this email. No more rambling at the keyboard.
You should be proud of your "TEAM" and I know that you are. Thank you for making

Dear Mr. Alvine-
I need to write this note to you to tell you how completely satisfied we are with
the sales force at Premier. We had a great experience with them last Septemeber
2007 when we bought a pre-owned Forester and when we were looking for a car for
my daughter this Spring we checked your website first.
Not only are your prices fair, but we have such great confidence that we are getting
a superior car that we bought a 1998 Forester for Rachel. Our salesman, Pete Carletti,
could not have been better. He is very easy to do business with and was a good listener,
something rare in many sales personnel! He heard exactly our concerns that we get
a safe car for our 20 yo driver.
He also went out of his way to discuss other car options for me as I was interested
in getting a Subaru sedan for myself. I was so happy that he talked to ME and did
not direct all his comments to my husband as many car salesmen do when they assume
that all I care about is the color of the car!
Joe Sansone is also a gem. He is always fair and direct-no smooze. He knows that
we are there to do business and responds to all our inquiries with clear answers.
He made the deal with the new Impreza happen for us- both by giving us a fair trade-in
price on our Jetta and a good price on the 2008 car.
Last but not least, the finance people are top notch. Both Stan and Rich are fabulous.
We have found that Rich has always been a real gentleman in all his dealings with
us. As your "money-man" you could not have found a better person. He got us a great
loan, told us all about the payment options and warranties and helped us select
the one that was best for us.
When we drove out of Premier we felt we had bought the best cars for the right price.
We would not hesitate to call and speak to anyone of the people we dealt with, knowing
that they are honorable in all their transactions.
Next year we will be in to buy a car for my son. Then, we will be an all Premier
Subaru family!

In September last year we were visiting friends in Wellington ,Florida in your beautiful

on my friends credit card and brought them back to South Africa with us. As you

To your service dept.
I was on my way to New Haven yesterday with my middle daughter to pick something
up at Lowes. I picked up a screw in my tire and started losing air on the highway.
I was going to try to stop in at Town Fair but I know it would have taken a long
time and their “waiting room” isn’t that kid friendly. Instead I figured I’d call
Gary and see if he could fix the tire on my Tahoe. He said bring it in. I did. I
took my daughter to Dunkin Donuts, had a donut, and as I was walking back I saw
Johnny bringing out my just washed truck. Couldn’t have worked out better. This
all took place without my emphasizing how I was in a rush and had a lot to do (which
seems like always nowadays). Please thank Gary, Dennis, Johnny and whoever the tech
was (Maybe Don?) again for me. Another great experience at Premier.

I am very happy with my car. I am sorry I do not know anyone who is interested in
a new car right now. I wanted to share an experience I had. I was on call and required
to go into the hospital a few months ago. I was returning home around 2 AM and it
was pouring rain. I was on the Q bridge with poor visibility. I started to hydroplane
into the direction of the cement guardrail. I remember what you said about when
in the snow take your foot off the gas and the wheels will align themselves. Well
I gave it a shot in the rain and the car corrected itself . I did not hit the guard
rail. Once over the bridge I had to pull over because there was then no visibility.
I tell everyone now how great my car is in the rain and I feel it may have saved
my life that night.

I was on my way to my daughter's house in Killington, Conn. on July 24, in my 1999
Outback Suburu on Route 95, when I felt a thumping noise from my front tire. As
I was not far from your dealership I limped about 20 miles an hour to your place.
I was immediately given a friendly and fast inspection of my car. In about 1/2 an
hour your rep. Gary Christiansen told us that our left front wheel was loose and
that's what was making that noise. He also told us about a transmission fluid leaking
filter. He advised us to have this taken care of, which we did, The reason that
I am writing to you is that I was very impressed with your service, your service
advisor (Gary) as well the complete honesty given to me . He could have told me
anything and I would have bought it and paid whatever he asked as I was totally
away from home and my own dealer. It is so nice to know that integrity is still
around in the business world of autos. I am sure if I had gone to a service station
on Route 95, I would have never received the attention and honesty that was found
at your establishment. The charge was reasonable and it was done quickly and efficiently.
To add to my surprise, my car was hand washed at no charge. Not many dealerships
in modest price range cars offer this reward. All in all, what could have been a
miserable trip, turned out to be just a minor inconvenience. THANK YOU AND YOUR
STAFF FOR A JOB WELL DONE. I am also going to write to your Suburu Headquarters
to let them know that they have an outstanding dealer in Branford.

nice to be congratulated (by name) by several who had nothing to do with the transaction.

It has been exactly a month (and over 1500 miles!!) since I drove off your lot in
my new Legacy GT. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for the
outstanding treatment I received during my experience at Premier Subaru.
Jeff, I was very impressed with your knowledge of the vehicles I was interested
in, and I felt very at ease throughout the entire process. Your ability to answer
all of my questions helped me realize that the Legacy was hands down the car for
me. Thank you for making yourself available even on your day off. The characteristics
that you exhibited were unmatched by any other dealership I visited. I was very
surprised by the individual attention that you gave to me.
Bob, I was also very surprised that an email I sent from the "contact us" link on
your website prompted a quick reply from you. I was able to meet you during my first
visit; this really meant a lot to me. It definitely helped make me feel more comfortable
at Premier Subaru. Since then, every time I have stopped in I have been able to
speak with you. I have known from the start that I made the right decision of where
to purchase my first new car, and thanks to you it was a very easy one!
This being my first new car purchase, I really didn't know what to expect when it
actually came to making a deal. I must say that I am a big fan of your "no haggle"
system. Its unfortunate that this isn't the standard of all businesses. I know I
was given an excellent deal, and you stood by your word. Honesty... amazing!

To whom it may concern;
I would like to bring to your attention the caring personnel at Premier Subaru of
Branford, CT. I recently purchased my 17th Subaru, a Baja Sport. I had been thinking
of getting a Baja for several months, however I wanted bells and whistles such as
heated seats, auto-dim mirror, etc. without a turbo engine requiring premium gas
and providing more pick up than I require (at my age pick up should be defined as
the ability to rise comfortably from a sitting position). While having my Forester
serviced I discussed this quandary with Mike Coughlin the superb service manager,
whose expertise has helped me in the past. He provided several suggestions and allayed
my fear of purchasing a truck-like vehicle. I then spoke with Stanley Nitkowski,
the salesperson who had sold me several Subaru in the past and has given me consistently
honest advice. He was able to build my Baja from the ground up to not only meet,
but exceed my expectations. He then proceeded to arrange an excellent trade in on
my Forester. My final commendation goes to Mr. Robert Alvine. This personable owner
is more than readily available to his customers. He is constantly circulating through
the service, parts, and sales areas in order to greet people. Mr. Alvine is extremely
knowledgeable on many subjects-but in particular motor vehicles and human nature.

Just wanted to share with you a call that I received here at Subaru Headquarters
from one of our owners a Mr. Dicker, who called today primarily just to say what
great service he has been getting from Premier Subaru in CT. The customer stated
that even though he had not purchased his vehicle from this dealer he continues
to go back there for service because of the service personnel such as the Service

Dear Mr. Tilton,
I would like to add some additional comments to Question 6 of the Survey. Months
before I purchased my Subaru Outback, I had done my research and decided that this
was the car I wanted.
When I learned that the 2005 models were going to be redesigned, I decided to wait
for the new models. There are two other dealers in the area (Milford, CT and Shelton,
CT) that are actually more convenient for me. However, when I went shopping for
a car, without my husband, at these other dealerships, I felt that I was now given
there best price because I wasn't a male.
The decision to purchase an Outback was mine and it was just a matter of where it
would be purchased from. While the location of Premier Subaru, was not convenient
for me, the treatment that I received, convinced me to purchase the car there.
My sales consultant, Joseph Procaccini, took his time upon delivery of the car to
explain everything on the dashboard and assured me that if I had any further questions,
he with there for me.
Lou Divilio, the Ownership Counselor, make purchasing the car a pleasant experience.
He discussed the extended warrantee and other options in a very professional manner
without making us feel pressured.
I would certainly recommend this dealership.

Your office and Service Manager, Michael Coughlin have been very diligent in their
continued correspondence encouraging prompt and responsible service. These reminders
are another area of confidence that we value as Premier Alumni. We also value the
care and upkeep of our wagon. Due to the distance and convenience, we have had to
make a trusted local automotive firm available to the care of this vehicle. We have
presented our yellow service schedule book and checklist to them at each visit,
and they have ordered Subaru parts for its maintenance. They have provided the oil
changes and larger mileage milestone service appointments for us with due diligence
and we have kept all records of these for the next owner of our car. Because our

Let me tell you my experience with your dealership. A few months ago I bought a
Subaru Impreza from %$#@! Subaru in Wallingford. I know... I know... I should have
come to you first, but live and learn right? I got into a little fender bender that
needed some touch up paint. I called %$#@! and they were no help to me. So I decided
to give you guys a call. Well, let me tell you, I was treated like a queen. Warren
without hestitation told me to come up and he would match the paint for me. When
I got there, he not only matched the paint but lightly compounded the scratches
so they hardly showed. I could not believe how nice I was being treated. Then I
met Mike in Service who went over a contract I bought and helped me with that too.
I have decided that I will be coming to your dealship in the future for all my Subaru
service. Even though I live in Wallingford, it is worth the drive to me. Your service
hours are GREAT and your staff is terrific. I just wish I had come there to buy
the car. But I can do the next best thing, I can continue to come there for all
my car needs. Please tell Warren and Mike I wrote you, they are GREAT guys. By the
way my daughter who is graduating from Connecticut School of Electronics in March
for automotive talked to Mike about starting in an entry postion part time there,
I hope you guys will give her a chance. Thanks again Bob and again I will be seeing

- just thought you would like to know how great your service department is. I first
brought my car to a dealer in shelton (near home). They diagnosed me as needing
a $600 tune-up. (I have 45K miles) I mentioned I recently had the 30K service done
at your branch, but they still insisted I needed that done AGAIN. I left and brought
the car to you. Things were fine and I only needed the 45K service at a much lower
rate. I'm so grateful for their on-target diagnosis skills. I certainly saved a
lot of money and aggravation. Next time, your dealership is worth the extra miles
for me!

Can't let my experience at Premier Subaru in Branford go by without commenting on
the excellent treatment I received while buying my new Forester XS. Never having
approached a car salesperson alone, I called my son in Florida, the salesmanager
of a Ford dealership, for advice. Before I left for Branford, my son called back
to tell me I was to ask for Brian, the salesmanager, when I got there. My son would
do all the negotiating about trade-in value, down-payment, financing, etc. All I
had to do was test drive the car and choose the color. I didn't believe this was
going to happen. So I went to Branford, met Brian (nice guy) and was introduced
to Barb Mullen, who went with me on the test drive. I was very nervous, but Barb
was super -- humorous, chatty, knowledgeable about the car, not pushy, and very
concerned about me. I left after the test drive and returned two days later to purchase
the car, all arrangements having been made by phone between my son, Brian, and Barb.
It was super. Where else could this happen except at Premier with these super people.
Thanks ever so much for such great treatment,especially Barb. I am now a certified
member of the "I LOVE MY SUBARU CAR CLUB'.

I just wanted to tell you about an incident that happened today(May 12)that deserves
comment. I inadvertently locked myself out of my Outback Subaru while getting gas
at the Mobil station on Route 1 near exit 54. The motor was running and the air
conditioner was on and I had shopping bags full of perishables.The keys were in
the ignition and the doors were locked. I called service and spoke with Mike who
told me he could cut a key for me ASAP. In fact within no time at all Warren came
by with a newly cut key that fit and I was set to go. This needless to say helped
me out of a jam. Everybody was very courteous and efficient. I thought you might
like to know this. A satisfied customer.

My husband, Ed, and I recently purchased a 2004 Subaru Outback from your dealership
and we absolutely LOVE it!!! The best part of the purchase was working with Barbara
Mullen, who is by far one of the nicest and down-to-earth automobile Sales representatives
that we have ever met. She provided a "soothing" atmosphere during the process by
offering sound advice, a thorough knowledge of the vehicle, and a bit of wit and
charm, too. This was much appreciated by my husband and I, especially with the past
experiences we have had while buying a new automobile.
I also would like to add that our 5 year old Siberian Husky, Napa, just loves her
new chariot and is more comfortable riding around than ever before. For now, she
is our only child (a four legged one!) and it is so great to know that she not only
rides in style, but in total safety, as well.
