Subaru announces pricing on 2015 Impreza Models

 

The 2015 Impreza debuts revised front styling with a new front bumper, grille and headlights. New exterior mirrors enhance aerodynamics, as does a low-profile trunk spoiler on 4-door models. The sedans also feature LEDs for the center high mounted stop lamp.  Impreza sedan pricing will begin at $18,195. Impreza 5-door model pricing starts at $18,695.

As the best-selling Impreza ever, the current generation has been part of Subaru's sales success where the company has posted record-breaking sales every year for the past six years. All Impreza models are powered by a 148-hp 2.0-liter Subaru BOXER engine and feature standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. For 2015, the Lineartronic CVT is now standard for the Premium and Limited trims and features revised shift logic for a more natural feel, while a 5-speed manual continues as standard in the base 2.0i and the Sport Premium trims.

The 2015 Impreza arrives in Subaru dealerships in November 2014. Offering one of the best values in the compact class, the Impreza offers a lengthy list of standard amenities including tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, 60/40-split fold-down rear seat backs, outside temperature gauge, a multi-function display with fuel economy information, steering wheel audio and Bluetooth® control switches, remote keyless entry and security system with engine immobilizer. Rear Vision Camera is now standard across the line. Impreza's updated design includes numerous upgrades for a quieter ride and a quick-ratio electric power assisted steering that enhances handling agility.

With a starting price of $20,995, the Impreza 2.0i Premium features standard 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear suspension stabilizer bar. For 2015, the 2.0i Premium gains the Lineartronic CVT as standard. The All-Weather Package, which includes 2-stage heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors and a windshield wiper de-icer, is also standard. The 2.0i Premium 4-door offers an optional Alloy Wheel Package that includes 17-inch wheels, power moonroof, fog lights and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

For an even sportier driving experience and appearance, the Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium is a 5-door model with more aggressive stance from body-color rocker panel spoilers and standard 17-inch alloy wheels. The trim also brings fog lights, turn-signal mirrors, roof rails, unique seat fabric and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. A power moonroof is available as a standalone option. The 2.0i Sport Premium is competitively priced from $20,995 with 5-speed manual transmission and $21,995 with the CVT.

At the top of the Impreza line, the Limited and Sport Limited (5-door only) trims deliver the highest level of comfort and convenience. Leather seating is standard, along with new infotainment systems, turn signal exterior mirrors, a color LCD in the gauge cluster, Welcome Lighting and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Additional exterior chrome trim also distinguishes the Limited. Impreza 2.0i Limited sedans are priced from $22,295 while the 5-door Sport Limited is $23,295, a $100 increase over the previous model.

The 2015 Impreza now offers the latest version of the EyeSight® driver-assist system, the highest-rated front crash prevention system by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Available for Impreza Limited trim lines, EyeSight® uses Subaru-developed stereo camera technology and integrates Adaptive Cruise Control,  Pre-Collision Braking and Vehicle Lane Departure Warning. Packaged with Navigation, Moonroof, Keyless Access & Start, EyeSight is one of the most affordable driver assist technologies with a package price of $2,795.  Models equipped with EyeSight® also come with new Steering-Responsive Fog Lights.

Subaru significantly upgraded the infotainment capability in the 2015 Impreza. A new 6.2-inch multi-function touch screen provides AM/FM stereo and HD Radio®; Radio Data Broadcast System; single-disc in-dash CD player; single-touch gesture control; Subaru STARLINK smartphone integration with Aha? Infotainment, Pandora® Radio and iHeart® Radio; a rear vision camera; Bluetooth® hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming; iPod® control capability, USB port and aux. input jack and four speakers. The Impreza 2.0i Premium features the same system with six speakers.

The upgraded infotainment system for Limited trims adds a 6-speaker audio system; 7-inch touch screen display with multi-touch control that offers swipe and scrolling gesture control; voice-activated controls; SiriusXM® satellite radio (subscription required); a vehicle information display; SMS text messaging, iTunes® tagging capability and dual USB ports.

The available navigation system for 4-door Limited and Sport Limited trims offers an interactive voice command system accepts natural language and phrases. SiriusXM NavTraffic® and NavWeather® services are available with additional subscription.

Victory for Subaru Rally Team!  


Cherry Hill, N.J., September 29, 2014 - Subaru Rally Team USA driver Sverre Isachsen stormed to victory in Saturday's final at Red Bull GlobalRallycross Seattle, earning himself and Subaru their first win in the burgeoning race series. The race was held at the DirtFish Rally School in Snoqualmie, WA in front of a sellout crowd. Isachsen moved into the lead early on the first lap in his #11 Subaru WRX STI rallycross car and never looked back, leading the entire 10 lap final to take a decisive win.

Barbara Mullen takes on new role as Client Ambassador

 

It was announced at the end of September that Barbara Mullen would be taking on a new role with Premier Subaru in Branford

As a client ambassador, to make certain that our existing customers continue to be given A+ rated service at our dealership. 

 

Barb has the distinction of being at Premier Subaru the longest of anyone, including Bob! She started with our dealership as a sales consultant back in June of 2000, when it was still Subaru of Branford, prior to Premier Subaru being established in August.  She has over 25 years total experience in sales, accounting, finance, and customer service within several dealerships. 


Barb is also Premier's community ambassador, as she is a familiar face to many Branford residents.  She is a flute player in the Branford Town Band and is the face of Premier Subaru as many different events, including the Branford Town Festival, the Guilford Fair, the North Haven Fair, etc. 

 

Barbara Mullen's philosophy for treating customers right is simple:

Kia Motors brand value skyrockets 480 percent since 2007

Since declaring design management as a core driver of the company's future growth and the hiring of President & Chief

Design Officer Peter Schreyer in 2007, Kia Motors Corporation's brand value has skyrocketed by 480% from US$929

million to US$5.4 billion, according to Interbrand's exclusive list of 100 'Best Global Brands 2014' which was released

today. This rise in brand value far outpaces the average growth rate over the same period of all 11 other automakers on

this year's list.

Kia first entered Interbrand's annual 100 'Best Global Brands' rankings in 2012, coming in 87th place with brand value of

US$4.1 billion, and subsequently rose four spots to 83rd position in the 2013 study following a 15% increase in brand value

to US$4.7 billion. During the past year, Kia's brand value increased by a further 15% to US$5.4 billion, elevating the

Korean automaker nine places to 74th position. Kia's increase in brand value according to this year's study is more than

double that of the top 100 companies' average brand value growth rate of 7%.

The significant increase in Kia's brand value over the past year can be attributed to factors such as the continued roll-out of

high profile marketing activities including this year's sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil? and Australian Open

tennis championship, an ongoing new product offensive featuring the launch of twelve next generation or significantly

upgraded models in 2013 and 2014, and a 4% rise in average selling price of exported vehicles during the first half of 2014

compared to the same period of the previous year.

Moreover, Kia's global brand campaign based on its new brand identity introduced in 2012 - A Different Beat - has

provided the company with great internal clarity and strong core brand attributes of "Vibrant, Distinctive and Reliable." As a

part of its efforts to strengthen the brand's 'A Different Beat' image and global customers' emotional attachment to the

brand, Kia has been executing various innovative marketing activities since 2012 including sensory marketing initiatives

such as the 'Red Cube' visual identity for dealerships around the world as well as introduction of a brand signature sound

that is being applied to Kia's television commercial end frame jingle and other customer touch points.

This latest recognition by Interbrand follows Kia's rise from 37th to 35th place on Interbrand's list of 50 'Best Global Green

 Brands 2014' released this past June.

The 2014 edition of Interbrand's annual 100 'Best Global Brands' study was executed through a comprehensive brand

performance analysis using best practice research methodology by expert analysts. The study measures a corporation's

financial performance in terms of the raw financial return to investors; role that a brand plays in the actual purchase

decision; and brand strength, which is the ability of a brand to secure the delivery of expected future earnings.

Kia Racing captures Pirelli World Title

As you know, Kia Racing recently captured the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) Grand Touring Sport

(GTS) Manufacturer Championship with a pair of factory-built Optima turbo race cars that started life

on the production line at our plant in West Point, Georgia. By competing against - and beating -

some of the most established automotive nameplates in the world, our motorsports program is now

gaining widespread notice from car enthusiasts, racing aficionados and the media.

guess she's a healthy eater!  Eileen actually got her name because she leans into EVERYONE for love and kisses!!!

She likes dogs and will do well with cats, too!  She seems willing to work with strangers and kids alike.
