Subaru XV Crosstrek wins Cars.com Challenge

The Subaru XV Crosstrek has been voted the best subcompact SUV in the cars.com challenge. Following the XV Crosstrek are the Fiat 500X, Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-3, Jeep Renegade, Nissan Juke and the Chevrolet Trax. These seven vehicles went through a 200-mile course on various roads through Colorado, and were judged by five experts from cars.com, USA Today, MotorWeek and a young couple who are interested in purchasing a new subcompact SUV. The results were evaluated by handling, comfort, performance, features and cargo space. Not only did the XV Crosstrek win the cars.com challenge, the vehicle also received the Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), as well as the top Safety Pick+ for the Crosstreks that are equipped with EyeSight® driver assist system. 
 
Kia expects to introduce first autonomous driving technology by 2020

Kia Motors has researched new autonomous driving technologies and plans to introduce a partially autonomous model line-up by 2020, and hopes to have its first fully autonomous car ready for 2030. The Hyundai Motor Group (which Kia is affiliated with) is working with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The Hyundai Motor Group has been working closely with experts to create the autonomous driving technology. The company aims to have the technology able to recognize other vehicles and any hazards and allow the vehicle to be able to make the best, safest decisions. Kia expects that the technology will allow the vehicles to drive and park themselves; creating a very safe ride for all drivers.
