BRANFORD ROAD RACE
 Premier Subaru and Kia will once again be an underwriting sponsor for the Branford Road Race, taking place on Sunday, June 18. This is the Branford Road Race's 37th year, and Premier's 3rd as a major underwriter for this event. The Road Race is expected to attract over 3,000 participants. Events include the 5-Mile Race, 2-Mile Health Walk, and 1 Mile Fun Run. Proceeds from this event benefit Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson's(CAP), Camp Rising Sun, and the Connecticut Chapter of ALS. CAP provides support for people in Connecticut who live with Parkinson's Disease. Branford's Ray Figlewski, the founder and current president of the Race, as well as an owner of multiple Subarus, was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2005. Camp Rising Sun provides a worry-free camping experience for children facing a cancer diagnosis. The ALS Connecticut Chapter provides support, medical attention, and transportation for families who live with ALS.

SUBARU DEBUTS LIMITED EDITION
WRX STI TYPE RA & BRZ TS
Both Will Provide Higher Performance for Driving Enthusiasts
Subaru of America, Inc. has announced two new performance models for 2018 - the WRX STI Type RA and the BRZ tS. Both are limited models designed by Subaru Tecnica International and will be in limited supply: just 500 units for each nationwide.Â
The RA designation in the WRX STI type RA stands for "Record Attempt", based upon Subaru's nearly 30 year history of trying to break world speed and endurance records. The Type RA delivers increated performance through weight reduction and suspension and engine upgrades.  It is outfitted with a 2.5 liter turbocharged Boxer Engine, which will get 310 horsepower, 19 inch forged alloy wheels, a short-throw shifter, an upgraded suspension with a modified multi-mode vehicle dynamics control system and BBS Brembo Brakes. Each Type RA will have an exclusive Cherry Blossom Red accent around the front mesh grille and rear bumper cover, plus additional bading on the rear deck lid.Â
The 2018 BRZ tS (tuned by STI) delivers the highest level of "fun to drive" and "pure handling delight" through greater flexibility, better control and stability. This vehicle comes equipped with lightweight STI 18 inch wheels(a first for BRZ) and Brembo brakes. It also includes an STI rear carbon fiber spoiler, and, like the STI Type RA, will include the Cherry Blossom Red accent and the badging on the rear hatch.Â

2018 KIA RIO MAKES DEBUT AT
NEW YORK AUTO SHOW

April 2017 saw the arrival of the 2018 Kia Rio at the New York Auto Show. The subcompact will be made available, as anticipated, in sedan and 5-door models. The Rio is designed to attract those buyers looking for more from an entry-level vehicle, and will showcase increases in design, technology, and passenger comfort.
Among changes will be a revision of the "tiger-nose" grille, repositioning of the fog lamps to give more visual width to the front fascia, and an improved dashboard instrument panel to make the layout more ergonomic. With the additional safety features involved, such as side-impact door beams and electronic stability control, the Rio is also striving to earn top grades from the IIHS and the NHTSA.

I was looking for a 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX hatchback and came across this dealership in CT. I live in NJ so it was obviously a bit of a hike but I was willing to drive it to see the car I was looking for. First off, the experiences I had at other dealers were horrible, and it worked out because this dealership was a world of difference in every sense of the word.
The first person I had contact with was Rita Ruhland who was totally friendly, not pushy, and offered answers to all my questions and called me back every time she said she would, which I really appreciated. Unbeknownst to them, I needed a car since I had just destroyed my own, but she was never pushy and never acted like they were doing me, just helpful and friendly and informative which I couldn't ask for more honestly.
When we first arrived, everyone was friendly, offered us water and coffee. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff at this facility and it immediately made things calm and easy going, which is not usually typical for a dealership. Rita came by and said hi and explained to us the car was being finished up and photographed to put up on the website since I obviously didn't commit to a car I hadn't seen yet.
Jason Jarkes was our salesperson and he was awesome from the start. I went up with my pops (since I needed a ride, and also in case I bought the car) and Jason really took the beating we gave him in stride. We all honestly laughed a lot and had a great experience. Jason was helpful, honest, and wasn't one to story tell us, just show us what they had to offer, tell me this is what we want, and let's figure out how we can all be happy, which was awesome.
